I'm Happy
I was listening to Pharrell's song today and its inspired me to write this post. The song touched me in such a powerful way because it reminds me of why I'm always a happy spririted person. It's a great feeling to know no matter what life throws at me, no matter how hard I get thrown to the ground, no matter who is trying to wish hate on me, I exhibit strengths of perseverance and allow no negative force to incriminate my universe; so I'm happy for that.
I tell my team members to be thankful & blessed for what you currently have. Even if all you have is your word because life is full of joy; if you allow yourself to experience it. Be happy for air you breath - not to sound cliché. Be happy for food, clothes, and the ability to create ideas based on your skill-set especially when you're experiecing struggle at it greatest peak in your life.
For years now, I've been exhibiting an spiritually uplifting aura to always bring happiness in my life & others around me. I'm happy and content with my struggles because they teach learning curves that are vital to going through adversities the hard-a-way. Whoa! I felt real good saying this. Real excited.
Back in late 20th Century, in 1997 to be exact, I was 16 at the time and people in my neighborhood gave me a weird nickname called LP. Now, LP stood for Lil Penny because I was short, I was basic, and at the time, a basketball player named Penny Hardaway was playing for The Orlando Magic. I didn't have the talent like him, but I had the passion and love for the game. My friends and I would go to Echo Park and play basketball whether rain, snow, or ice; yes, ICE - we were crazy like that. I was dedicated to showing my true passion for the game by just hustling for loose balls, grabbing rebounds, and playing solid defense; I wasn't an offensive player.
I didn't care how anyone thought of me and what they said to me because I was happy with me being on the court, playing basketball with my peers, and everyday trying to dunk the ball. Dunking the ball was a thing to do to prove your athleticism and creativity. I was the shortest guy in my circle, but I didn't care, I still tried. I kept trying until one day, I did it. One of the older guys saw me in the air, a 5 foot 6 inches 16year young boy, dunking the basketball like I was reach for the stars. That was the day LP (Lil Penny) was born. Even if some people were laughing at the name because who in their right mind would be happy with a nickname like LP (sounding like a feminine name), I was happy with it and didn't care who didn't like it either.
The point of my flashback story was to explain how life throws challenges even in a time of just having fun. Be happy when you fail because it's preparing you for the ultimate challenge which you will then conquer. I know you want happiness-- right now too and I know you deserve it. If that's the case, make a decision right now; to be happy and STAY HAPPY.
You do that by, taking deep breaths every once in a while, realize everything in life is an illusion made to validate your existence, start surrounding yourself with prosperity & trustworthy attitudes, know that everybody will have an opinion at something you do; just listen and move on, know that you need to create ideas or affiliate yourself with products that service your skill-sets/talents. (Products I'm referring to here are people of Earth), and then formulate a atomic inner circle filled with positive energy forces only purpose is to educate, inspire, motivate you to perform greater than ever before. (The longest run-on sentence ever ;) )
Listen, I'm going to keep being happy; to show you positivity. You can't deny my happiness more less ignore it because I'm showing you what's possible. I know struggle, even if I'm connecting with people, making money, and climbing up corporate ladders; I'm going to continue to struggle my way towards my ultimate happiness...it's the journey I value the most.
I'm going to continue to write philosophical teaching of my own personal experiences showing you I'm putting the necessary work in. I love myself enough to be happy with not being able to have materialistic pleasures in life. I'm stronger, wiser, and fully capable of teaching others the importance of team work. Happiness is contagious. Happiness is fun. Happiness involves two or more groups representing different struggles that embody greatness beyond measure.
Be happy, live happy, and share happiness because that is all we really want.
